Description

Selling my 69 GTX that I bought from the original owner 40 years ago. It hasn't been driven since 1979 after a guy with no insurance in a Vega pulled out in front of me. Only damage on the car was a little to the hood (reapairable), fenders and front bumper. I found a nice set of 69 Satellite fenders for it that are on it. I've always dreamed of fixing the car but as usual life has gotten in the way. As my priorities have changed, I'm establishing a sanctuary for Great Pyrenees dogs I've decided to sell it. It's too nice a car to not get restored and I don't think I'll ever get the chance. It has always been kept garaged and covered. Structurally the car is great The hood has minor damage that can be repaired. Car still runs and drives. It is a track package car with fresh air hood, 4 speed, Dana 60 with 4:10s and an extra leaf in the right side spring. The vinyl top is original and is pristine. Interior is in great shape. I put some shag carpet over the original when I first bought (at 18) it but the rest of it is original. Driver's seat has one small tear that you can see in the pictures on the driver's seat side bolster. I never thought I'd sell this car but I love it too much to not let it get fixed by someone. I have all of the trim and parts for the car with some extras. I have always started it and let it run about once or twice a month so the engine is still good. It has headers on it but I still have the original exhaust manifolds. Exhaust system is off of the car but I have a set of factory tips for it. Last pic is what it looked like before. I also still have the broadcast sheet from under the backseat.
